Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to partner with our client's Lead Data Architect in designing, scaling, and managing a modern enterprise analytical data warehouse. This role is ideal... for a hands-on professional who can bridge business requirements with technical solutions, helping to build a cloud-native, high-performance data platform supporting BI, analytics, and emerging AI use cases. Key Responsibilities include: Data Architecture & Engineering-Design and implement dimensional data models (Kimball/star schema) to support enterprise reporting and analytics -Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using modern cloud platforms (Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, etc.) -Contribute to Lakehouse and medallion architectures (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for scalable data processing -Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across large datasets and analytic workloads-Support development of semantic data layers (Power BI / SSAS) and enterprise reporting frameworks Platform Governance & Integration-Apply and maintain data governance, lineage, and security standards (e.g., RBAC, PII protection, auditability) -Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources (databases, APIs, cloud storage, external systems) -Contribute to establishing architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practicesCollaboration & Delivery-Partner with the Lead Data Architect and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions-Work closely with data engineers, BI developers, and analysts to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions-Participate in architecture design sessions, code reviews, and solution validation-Promote engineering best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the teamWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
