The Technician's role is instrumental in preparing reports and will work with management to update and track the configuration status of the training devices.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Prepare the system for operation in accordance with (IAW) on-site operational and technical manuals and execute other functions as required by the training system instructor/student.-Assist in the operation of the training devices to include Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities (e.g., set up, power-on/off, daily operational readiness testing, initialization, and other assistance as required).-Diagnose & resolve problems associated with the initialization or operation during each training event.-Applies advanced knowledge and experience to solve unusually complex or system problems.-Interprets and works with computer systems utilizing various and multiple operating systems.-Diagnoses malfunctions of computers associated equipment and performs operability/readiness tests and repairs.-Interprets mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics and drawings and makes simplified versions.-Conducts voice communications on phone, inter-phone, and radio circuits.-Provides networking and information systems support on training devices and networks.-Ensures strict compliance with health, safety, security, and local base procedures, demonstrating our commitment to your well-being and security.-Implements essential modifications to existing simulators.-Other duties as assigned.Compensation:$40/hr to $45/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
