An entertainment client is seeking a Database Engineer (MySQL) to join their team! This role focuses on supporting and improving large-scale MySQL environments across hundreds of nodes, including... ongoing migration work and daily production support. Engineers split time between project-based work (rebuilding environments, improving tooling, automation) and BAU tickets (troubleshooting issues, schema updates, performance tuning), while participating in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation supporting high-traffic events. The team is highly focused on automation, documentation, and proactively solving issues before they become incidents. You?ll be working in a Linux-heavy, hands-on environment where engineers are expected to deeply understand and operate the systems they support.
