- Responsible for designs, projects, and expansion of wireless networks at locations within the DC-MD-VA area and nationally (Less than 10% travel)- Utilize working knowledge of wireless network... infrastructure, signal propagation, advanced troubleshooting wireless interference, optimizing coverage, spectrum analysis, etc- Utilize understanding and comprehension of network protocols and switching, TCP/IP, FTP/HTTP(S), UDP, STP, VPN, etc- Provide technical root cause analysis or requirements summaries to the team and management using fundamental network terminologies- Troubleshoot CISCO routers, switches, wireless access points, uninterruptible power supplies, firewalls, etc- Activate and configure CISCO switches, routers, NICs, LAN ports and diagnose configuration issues using command line and prompts on the switch and or endpoint device- Create network and closet diagrams and able to decipher network topologies- Use industry standard wireless network tools to perform wireless surveys, create designs, produce analysis reportingSalary range: $75,000-$85,000We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
