Insight Global is supporting a leading company within the HVAC and piping industry in the search for a Revit Designer to support its Manufacturing Group. This individual will play a critical role to annotating and supporting the designs of several ongoing capital projects. This is a production focused BIM / MEP Detailer responsible for modeling plumbing and piping systems exactly as they will be fabricated and installed in the field. The role sits between engineering and construction and directly impacts clashes, RFIs, fabrication accuracy, cost, and schedule.Key Responsibilities:?Provide drafting/modeling support for the Engineering and VCS departments as needed.?Capable of reading contract drawings for reference.?Modeling of plumbing/piping systems per contract documents.?Annotate and prepare shop drawings for A/E review through IFC to make available to the PM team. ?Experienced in clash avoidance modeling.?Experienced in identifying issues that will result in generating an RFI.?Knowledge of state plumbing/piping codes for constructible modeling.?Capable of generating spools/BOMs/ISOs utilizing all software within the manufacturing department.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are seeking a self-driven Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, modification, and installation of mechanical equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on mechanical design with onsite and field-based support, working on both new and legacy equipment.Key Responsibilities? Design and modify mechanical components and systems for production, manufacturing, and assembly line equipment? Support both new equipment development and updates to legacy machinery? Create and maintain detailed mechanical drawings and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD? Participate in onsite work, including a minimum of two days per week onsite? Be fully onsite during equipment installation and commissioning phases? Provide field support as required during troubleshooting, installation, and upgrades? This individual will support the Sales & Estimating team by completing accurate data entry related to Bills of Materials for an electrical panel shop. This is not a full estimator role; the candidate will receive training from the Estimating Manager on the specific formatting and entry processes.
