Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure for a large semiconductor IDM. This role ensures reliable power delivery to critical manufacturing systems by working with switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, and generators, and by monitoring performance through SCADA, BMS, and EMS platforms. The engineer will troubleshoot electrical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize uptime in a high-availability environment. They will also support electrical system upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards and collaborating closely with operations and maintenance teams.Additional ResponsibilitiesElectrical system upgrades ? The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining the reliability, safety, and performance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support uninterrupted production operations. This hands-on role performs preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues, and responds quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime. The technician will troubleshoot complex machine failures using schematics, technical manuals, PLC controls, diagnostic tools, and root cause analysis techniques, while also completing mechanical rebuilds and assisting with the installation and startup of new equipment. Working closely with production and cross-functional teams, the Maintenance Technician II will manage work orders through maintenance systems, document completed work, maintain organized maintenance areas, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, and operational efficiency. The Plastic Molding Technician will be responsible for supporting the efficient production of high-quality molded plastic components through the setup, operation, and optimization of injection molding equipment and processes. This individual will perform mold changeovers, prepare machinery for production runs, troubleshoot processing and equipment issues, and make process adjustments to maintain quality and productivity standards. Working closely with Plastics Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams, the technician will evaluate equipment performance, audit molding machines to verify part quality and process parameters, and provide recommendations to reduce defects, minimize downtime, and improve overall efficiency. The role also requires a strong understanding of molds and injection molding machinery, including identifying and reporting mold repair needs, preparing molds for storage, and ensuring equipment is production-ready.
