We firmly believe that our success is directly tied to the well-being of our employees, consultants, and the communities we serve. As we navigate the dynamic landscape of ESG, our purpose remains unwavering: to develop our people personally, professionally, and financially so they can Be the Light to the world around them. Whether it’s within our local office walls or across continents, we champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our people are our greatest asset, and by embracing their unique experiences, we foster innovation and create a vibrant ecosystem. From mental health counseling to volunteering and mentorship programs, we go above and beyond to prioritize the development of our team members, partners, and communities we serve.

philanthropy
As an organization, our purpose centers around being the light to the world around us. Living out this purpose is hard work, but it matters because it makes a meaningful impact in our communities, on each other, and the planet. There is no limit to the collective effect we can make when we focus on vital issues that go beyond the walls of Insight Global. Whether it’s dedicated service days to diverse charities, serving underserved communities around the world, or providing a financial lifeline to employees and their families during a trying time, each humanitarian act ties back to our purpose. Our unwavering commitment to giving back remains steadfast and it’s what makes us, us.
We’re proud to collaborate with eight national charities that align tightly with our Shared Values. These organizations bring hope, support, positive change, and opportunity to people and causes that need it most. Your dedication fuels our impact, and together, we’ll keep making a difference—one act of generosity at a time.

be the light fund
With so many employees all over the world, it was important for us to create a centralized giving fund to show our collective impact when we rally around causes we care about. The Be The Light Fund has demonstrated our potential to make that significant impact, even while supporting multiple charities. We match every dollar our people contribute, amplifying our giving power.
Our people and partners can donate to support philanthropic efforts via enrolling in payroll deductions (internal) or giving online.
To help us stay focused on our outcomes, impact, and goals, we leverage our charitable partnerships to help us align to our pillars of support and giving.
oneWorld health
Our partnership with OneWorld Health began in 2020 and is built upon the shared belief that everyone deserves quality and accessible healthcare. OneWorld Health supports communities in developing countries to bring permanent, sustainable healthcare to the chronically underserved. As a company, our people have developed a deep passion and excitement for this organization and the cause they are supporting. We are so proud to have raised more than $2.6 million for OneWorld Health, program to date, enabling us to fund seven healthcare clinics across Uganda, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
insight global family foundation
For our employees to Be the Light to the world around them, they need to feel seen, heard, supported, and cared for. That’s why we created the Insight Global Family Foundation (IGFF), a grant-making non-profit built from our company’s Shared Value: We Take Care of Each Other. Developed by employees, for employees, the Foundation provides grants of up to $10k, with no expectation of repayment, for Insight Global employees and consultants experiencing financial hardships due to unplanned events. Grants provide restorative relief and can cover unforeseen medical bills, natural disaster recoveries, automobile hardships, housing, rent assistance, and shelter support.

workforce development
Our purpose at Insight Global is to develop our people personally, professionally, and financially so that they can Be the Light to the world around them. This past year, we’ve created some unique opportunities to do just that. Whether it’s hitting the road on a full-service mobile career center, providing a pathway to citizenship for our internal employees and our consultants, or expanding our reach internationally, our goal is still the same: to develop our people and the communities around us.
Mobile Career Center
Insight Global fundamentally believes that everyone can learn and realize their full career potential. In the fall of 2022, Insight Global launched the Be The Light Tour, a full-service mobile career center aimed to help give job seekers the career tools and resources they need to get their next – or first – job. The tour offers free access to Insight Global’s staffing experts and local partners, and provides personalized, one-on-one career counseling and readiness to bolster job opportunities.
The mobile career center is open to everyone, but focuses on underserved populations and meeting people where they are within their communities. Throughout the country, many of these communities face challenges when it comes to advancing their career, from social and economic inequality to marginalization. We believe that impacting individuals through the Be The Light tour strengthens not only the individual, but creates a ripple effect that transforms the community as well.
pathway to citizenship
Insight Global’s Immigration team has built out programming and trainings that led us to evolve how we help our employees on their pathway to citizenship. We originally set a goal to sponsor 100 visas by the end of 2025; however, upon looking at our extensive candidate pool and capabilities as an organization, we decided that 100 visa sponsorships was selling ourselves short. So, we increased our 2025 goal to sponsoring 500 visas, knowing that the following improvements we made in 2023 will get us there.
QUADRUPLED our overall sponsored population from less than 20 employees in 2022, to almost 80 employees in 2023.
ESTABLISHED PATHWAYS FOR NURSE PRACTITIONERS immigrating from the Philippines to be eligible for U.S. employment on an H-1B visa.
Grew our capabilities to give consultants and internal employees on student visas the opportunity to be submitted in the H-1B lottery. This resulted in TRIPLING OUR H-1B LOTTERY submission and acceptance numbers from the previous year.
Expedited our timeline for beginning Green Card processing BY 50%.
international nursing
In 2023, we recognized a gap in the staffing industry. We wanted to help our healthcare clients find qualified and affordable global talent. That’s why we launched our international nursing division – a new program allowing us to staff international nurses from the Philippines. This program is not just about hiring nurses; it’s about creating generational change. Our 16-week training program at our Grit Academy in Manila, Philippines is how we guarantee that our nurses can flourish personally, professionally, and financially to Be the Light to the world around them once they are in their new career in the United States.
Our nurses are our family. We take care of them and they Always Know Where They Stand.
Training & Development
“Develop our people” is how we kick-off our company’s purpose statement. That’s a lot of pressure, but we look at pressure as a privilege. In 2018, we set out to create something special. We set out to create a world-class training organization that was built around the idea of paying it forward. Insight Global University (IGU) was launched by a group of tenured employees that wanted to give back. They had their own professional ups and downs throughout our time at the company and wanted to create programs to support our people, regardless of where they are in their journey.
the iG way
Starting on their very first day, every Insight Global new hire is immersed in The IG Way. This program is designed to teach how we operate, from our culture to the fundamentals of business to honing your craft. Through interactive guides, reviews, and trainings, every employee is empowered to own their development.
leadership academy
Leadership Academy was born out of our “Leadership Is Here To Serve” Shared Value. As a collaborative extension of IGU, Leadership Academy is a continuation of higher education in our training organization that focuses on the development of our current and emerging leaders. Whether it be mentoring the future leaders in our company or the on-going training for current leaders, we teach both tactical and behavioral skills through the lens of our Shared Values.

diversity, equity, & inclusion
We believe that being the best company is having the best people. We find and keep the best people by hiring diversely and creating a culture where people can bring their full selves to work, and we share our learnings with our clients and consultants so they too can progress.
Insight Global’s approach to creating a strong internal DE&I strategy began in 2019 with the creation of our Diversity Council. Formed by a group of passionate employees, the Diversity Council saw an opportunity to enrich our culture with DE&I values. In 2023, the Diversity Council has grown from a passionate group of employees to a team of over 60 people led by influential leaders addressing areas of growth such as:
Hiring & Retention – Training & Development – Employee Engagement – Leadership Commitment – Company Alignment in Goals – Mission – and Values
Data-driven progress
We believe in the importance of knowing where you’ve been so you can better plan where you’re going. We track data in the following categories to provide insights into our current state so we can build impactful and sustainable programming that promote positive change. We’ve been successful in using this data to set bold but achievable DE&I aspirations and track progress made towards achieving our 2025 ESG Goals.
As we’ve matured in our DE&I journey, our purview into the organization has increased. While we will continue the work to improve our ethnic diversity, we are proud to share that 7.8% of the company identifies with one of the following protected characteristics:
LGBTQIA+ – veteran status – first generation – disability status
employee network resource groups
Each Employee Network Resource Group is made up of members and at least one ENRG Lead. In partnership with our Diversity Council leaders, the ENRG is responsible for cultivating a safe space, inclusive community, driving company-wide awareness, member development, and cultural celebrations. They are led by employees who share similar backgrounds and identities. These groups exist to provide support and help with personal and professional growth – and to create a space where employees can bring their whole selves to the table.
going beyond our organization
As a company that places tens of thousands of people a year, we have a huge responsibility. We have a responsibility to our customers to provide them with diverse talent pools, and to help them create inclusive hiring and onboarding practices that produce the results they need to be a more innovative business. We also have a responsibility to our consultants to ensure we place them in environments where they are set up for success, no matter what their background is. That’s where the DEIB services division comes in.
We partner with our clients to be their total talent partner with the goal of gaining a better understanding of how to integrate DEIB into their talent lifecycle. This results in higher engagement, a sense of belonging, and ultimately, growth. We work with our clients to create a custom-tailored plan and help them see it through from start to finish. We deliver experiential learning programs, conduct research and data analysis, and provide strategic consulting.

employee wellness
Despite the challenges of 2023, we remained steadfast in putting our people and their well-being first. We want our people to feel valued, resilient, and empowered to thrive in all aspects of their lives. That’s why we strive to make wellness resources easily accessible — because we are committed to caring for our people personally, professionally, and financially.
free mental health counseling
We invest in our people by offering free mental health counseling, recognizing that their well-being fuels our collective success. When an Insight Global employee reaches out, they’re matched swiftly with a counselor tailored to their unique needs. Over 50% of our employees have embraced our partnership with GROW Counseling. It’s more than enrollment; it’s a testament to their commitment to mental health.

parental leave support
The program supports soon-to-be or new parents, as well as those dealing with the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, through community groups. We have 24 dedicated ambassadors who have walked through our parental leave process and volunteer to provide top-notch, personalized support to new parents with transition plans, schedule changes, and finding their new normal as a working parent. We acknowledge that parenting is unique for every individual, so we rely on our Peer Support Network to link parents facing challenges such as disabilities, single parenthood, fertility struggles, and pregnancy loss.
“Insight Global has truly excelled in supporting parents through their Parental Leave Program. The team works to foster a sense of community by organizing groups based on due dates and offering events like prenatal yoga classes. These initiatives help parents connect and share experiences. When parents return to work, program ambassadors provide mentorship and host events. Additionally, managers receive leadership training to create transition plans while parents are on leave. The program includes improved healthcare benefits, especially related to fertility coverage and emergency childcare through care.com. From personalized congratulatory calls to thoughtful gifts, the Parental Leave Team ensures that every parent feels equipped and cared for during this transformative phase of life.”
