Camp Maintenance

Insight Global is seeking Camp Maintenance to support a mining and mineral exploration company at their Yukon camp site on a 6 month contract. This is a fly in/out position, 2 weeks on with 2 weeks off. The shift is 12 hours per day, 7 days per week while at site. You will be responsible for keeping the remote Yukon camp clean, sanitary, and comfortable for the onsite crew. This role covers daily housekeeping, cleaning of shared spaces, waste removal, laundry support, and general camp tidiness. Two resources alternate on a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation to ensure continuous coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize camp common areas, dining areas, washrooms, and sleeping quarters on a daily basis.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal across camp facilities.
• Maintain laundry services for camp linens, towels, and shared items.
• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables in washrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain floors, hallways, and entryways throughout the camp.
• Support kitchen cleanup and dishwashing in coordination with the Camp Cook.
• Report any facility damage, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Lead Equipment Operator or PM.
• Assist with general camp tidiness and light outdoor cleanup as needed.

• Prior experience in a janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial role (camp, hotel, institutional, or commercial setting).
• Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days/week on a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation in a remote camp.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks for extended periods including lifting, bending, and standing.

• Prior experience in a remote mining, drilling, or resource camp environment.
• WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license.
