About the Role
PAE is seeking a Midwest-based Regional Sales Manager to develop and expand strategic manufacturing relationships across the region. This individual will lead business development efforts targeting OEMs and manufacturers requiring PCBAs, prototype development, NPI support, and full production manufacturing services.
The ideal candidate brings a hunter mentality, strong technical manufacturing knowledge, and the ability to navigate long, consultative sales cycles. This position is focused on winning new business rather than maintaining existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and grow PAE's Midwest customer base.
Create and execute target account strategies.
Generate sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking, and industry engagement.
Engage engineering, procurement, and operations stakeholders throughout the sales process.
Lead customers from concept and prototype phases through full-scale production.
Conduct technical discovery sessions and identify manufacturing solutions.
Develop strategic relationships with OEM and contract manufacturing decision makers.
Maintain pipeline visibility and forecast accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of sales or business development experience within manufacturing or electronics industries.
Background selling:
EMS services
PCB manufacturing
Contract manufacturing
Electronic components
Industrial electronics
Embedded technologies
Manufacturing services
Demonstrated success in net-new business generation.
Strong understanding of design-to-production manufacturing environments.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial audiences.
Proven track record managing large, strategic opportunities valued in the seven-figure range.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Established Midwest manufacturing network.
Experience working with medical device, industrial automation, semiconductor, or advanced electronics customers.
Existing relationships with engineering, sourcing, procurement, and manufacturing leaders.
Experience selling long-cycle, project-based manufacturing solutions.
