Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant (GL-focused) for a top healthcare services client undergoing a significant finance transformation. This contract role will support the accounting organization during a period of change as processes are centralized across multiple affiliates. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in public accounting, thrives in an evolving environment, and is comfortable flexing across responsibilities. This role requires someone who can both own key accounting functions and support broader initiatives, grind through close-related tasks, and remain curious about the “why” behind the numbers while helping drive accurate, compliant financial reporting.
Day-to-Day
• Assist with and own portions of the general ledger close process
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
• Complete fluctuation analysis and support financial statement accuracy
• Perform AR subledger close procedures and ensure proper reconciliation
• Support interim, year-end, and statutory audits
• Maintain adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, Marketing, Commercial) to provide financial data and insights
• Support finance transformation efforts focused on centralization and process improvement
• Step into different accounting areas as business needs shift due to transformation
Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis as assigned

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience (audit or assurance preferred)
• Strong Excel skills (most critical system)
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience performing fluctuation analysis and financial statement review
• Comfortable owning workstreams while also supporting broader accounting needs
• Adaptable and flexible in a changing, uncertain environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to grind through repetitive/monotonous tasks
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience preparing and posting journal entries in a month-end close environment
Ability to work onsite in Vancouver, WA Tuesday–Thursday
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• CPA or CPA-track
• Experience during finance transformation or process centralization initiatives
• Oracle Fusion Cloud experience
• Coupa experience (invoices, POs, procurement workflows)
• Blackline exposure
• Experience working cross-functionally with FP&A, Marketing, or Commercial teams
Healthcare, veterinary services, or multi-entity environment experience
