A client is looking for a Business System Analyst to join their team! This position will be a full-time direct hire role that will be 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. In this role you will be responsible for meeting with internal stakeholders, gathering and writing technical requirements and working with the Data, Development, and QA teams to put together a solution for what needs to be created. In this role a lot of the work will be around system integrations for new and older systems. In this role you will interface with the business, help QA get set up for UAT testing, schedule and host meetings and drive this forward to ensure everyone is on the same page and it is understood what the business wants and performing business map gap analysis. Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst
3-4+ years of experience eliciting, gathering, and writing technical requirements for Data Engineering and Software Development teams
Experience with Data: Data Quality, Data Mapping, EDI, ETL, Web Services, and Microservices
SQL experience: navigating databases, reading, and writing SQL queries
Understanding of APIs, system to system integrations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Domain experience in Benefits or Insurance
Familiar with Payroll Systems: ADP, Paychex, Gusto, etc.
Experience working with 3rd party vendors
Familiar with Change Approval Process
AI experience, familiar with AI agents and models
Experience managing system backlog
