Job Description

Our customer with Hotel operations in Anchorage, Alaska is looking for an onsite Technical Support Technician. This role will work 40 hour work weeks, weekends included and will be required to drive to the sites as needed. clean driving record required. This role provides hands‑on technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral issues. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computers and applications, performing routine system maintenance, documenting issues and resolutions, and delivering user training in person and over the phone. The role also supports data backup, recovery, and IT security practices while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and operational reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with business computer applications and a broad understanding of hardware, operating systems, and software
• Hands on experience providing end user IT support (desktops, laptops, peripherals, software, and connectivity)
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, common business applications, and basic hardware troubleshooting
• Experience working in networked environments, including Wi Fi, VPNs, printers, and shared resources
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading computers, software, and peripheral equipment
• Ability to provide clear user training and technical guidance, both in person and remotely
• Comfortable documenting issues and resolutions in a ticketing or tracking system
• Clean driver’s record
• Willingness to travel to regional sites as needed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system
