Insight Global is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join the People and Analytics team for one of our largest retail clients. As a BI Developer, will work closely with the technology, CoEs, and the People and Analytics team to innovate and build metrics & analytical products to help with scalability. This team is in the middle of a large project to build out a brand-new data infrastructure over the course of 2024. This person will be responsible for the proper assessment of people product development in PowerBI, as well as enhancements for the automation of those products. You'll work with stakeholders to validate requirements and build dynamic dashboards for maximum speed/availability. Additional responsibilities include:
- Build data pipelines, reports, dashboards, and analyses to deliver metrics and insights to the business
- Design and implement technical solutions with development and design standards
- Understand system limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and/or the reasons for technical decisions
- Adopt best practices in operational excellence, data modeling and analysis. Ensure BI solutions are correctly and efficiently supporting the business
- Implement training and documentation solutions that enable business stakeholders to get the most out of self-serve reporting tools
4+ years of experience as a BI Developer with expertise in data visualization and creating dashboards in Power BI
3+ years of experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.)
Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
Worked extensively in large scale data bases and data warehouses
Extensive experience building ETL jobs in databricks environment
Excellent communication skills and experience successfully partnering with senior leaders to drive improved outcomes for the business through analytics
Experience in the People Analytics Domain
Experience working within Avature and Workday
