Job Description
• Analyze airline and travel domain integration needs and recommend improvements to platform reliability, data accuracy, message flow, and delivery consistency.
• Partner with Alaska, Hawaiian, vendor, and internal engineering teams to track changes, improvements, defects, dependencies, timelines, and delivery risks.
• Support integration platform and messaging workstreams, including queues, topics, exchanges, message flows, routing, error handling, retry/replay needs, and downstream consumer impacts.
• Help define and validate platform delivery expectations, including availability, resiliency, monitoring, operational readiness, and supportability.
• Coordinate environment readiness across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Work with ITS and business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify priorities, document decisions, and align delivery outcomes to business needs.
• Support planning, execution, and communication across product, project, and technical workstreams.
• Support Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint ceremonies, dependency tracking, and delivery reporting.
• Use Azure DevOps to manage work items, document requirements, track blockers, and communicate delivery status.
• Help coordinate testing, validation, change management, implementation readiness, and production deployment planning.

Required Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting technical delivery across project, product, platform, and engineering teams.
• Experience working with ITS and business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage priorities, and coordinate execution across multiple teams.
• Experience with airline or travel domain integrations across the broader airline ecosystem, including commercial, operational, customer, employee, airport, maintenance, loyalty, reservations, and digital business areas.
• Experience with integration platforms, messaging systems, data streams, APIs, or enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of messaging patterns and components such as queues, topics, exchanges, subscriptions, routing, publishers, consumers, retry/replay, and dead-letter handling.
• Preferred experience with enterprise integration and middleware platforms such as IBM MQ, TIBCO, Azure messaging/integration services, and Sabre IX.
• Experience with Global Distribution Systems, airline reservation systems, or travel technology platforms.
• Experience with MongoDB or other platform/data technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of event-driven integrations, platform delivery, and downstream system dependencies.
• Experience supporting development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts is preferred.
• Experience working across on-premises and cloud environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Change Management practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across engineering, vendor, product, business, and operational teams
