Job Description

A Fortune 500 company in the Greater Seattle area is looking for an Integration Test Lead to join their team. This role will lead end-to-end integration testing across internal and external applications, ensuring seamless interaction and reliable data flow. The Integration Test Lead will develop and execute comprehensive API testing strategies for RESTful and SOAP services, design test cases validating integrations with AWS and Google Cloud services, Confluent Kafka, and on‑prem SQL servers, and partner closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to define integration points and performance benchmarks. Responsibilities include planning and executing performance testing for cloud-based applications using AWS and Google Cloud components, leveraging tools such as LoadRunner and Postman for load, stress, and endurance testing, and analyzing results to identify bottlenecks and deliver actionable recommendations. The role also ensures test environments accurately replicate production architectures, mentors and leads test engineers on best practices in integration, API, and cloud performance testing, and clearly communicates testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in integration and performance testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong expertise in API testing (REST, SOAP) with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Hands-on experience testing cloud solutions on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with AWS components, Confluent Kafka, GCP components.
Proficient with performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, Gatling, Grafana
Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Java, Python).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, ISTQB.
Experience with SaaS or cloud-native application testing.
