Overview
We’re seeking a Software Engineer to support our growing Continuous Integration (CI) and Test Infrastructure organization. This engineer will partner closely with the technical lead to build, improve, and scale internal CI infrastructure, tooling, and automation that enables engineering teams across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving infrastructure problems, learning new technologies, and working in an environment where ownership, curiosity, and continuous learning are highly valued.
The ideal candidate does not need deep experience in Meta’s tooling or CI systems. Instead, we’re looking for someone with strong software fundamentals, Python experience, and the desire to learn complex infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities
Develop and improve CI infrastructure and automation.
Build and maintain internal tooling.
Enable engineering teams to onboard tests into CI pipelines.
Support build infrastructure and continuous integration systems.
Partner with multiple engineering teams to improve developer workflows.
Leverage AI tools to improve engineering productivity and internal workflows.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and investigate complex technical problems.
Learn Meta’s internal infrastructure and become a key technical partner for the team.

Required Skills & Experience
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ability to read and write production-quality code.
Strong Python programming skills.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated with strong ownership.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
Strong communication skills.
Passion for learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD systems.
Build automation experience.
Test infrastructure or test automation.
Embedded systems exposure.
Hardware/software integration experience.
Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar hardware projects.
C++ experience.
Hardware validation experience.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools.
