Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Vehicle Integration Validation (VIV) Engineer to support autonomous vehicle programs within its Vehicle Integration Validation group. This engineer will be responsible for developing and executing validation strategies for ADAS, autonomous vehicle, powertrain, and controls systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in vehicle testing and validation, can perform hands-on testing activities, and is comfortable working across software and hardware domains. This role requires someone who can build test plans, analyze complex test data, troubleshoot issues, and communicate findings effectively while supporting critical autonomous vehicle initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of truck, automotive, or vehicle engineering experience
Experience with vehicle validation/testing, including test plan development and execution
Experience supporting ADAS, autonomous vehicle, powertrain, or controls systems
Hands-on testing experience with vehicles, instrumentation, software checks, and data acquisition
Strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical communication skills
BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Functional Safety testing or development experience
Experience with vehicle software/service tools such as DAVIE 4, Bendix ACOM, Eaton Service Ranger
CAN / J1939 networking experience
Vector CANalyzer experience
ATI Vision or calibration tool experience
Powertrain hardware and software validation experience
Commercial vehicle or heavy-duty truck experience
Strong presentation skills
