Job Description
This position is responsible for commissioning, coordinating, performing, and overseeing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair duties for industrial hydrogen systems, primarily electrolyzers and hydrogen storage infrastructure, at various customer sites across Washington, with a focus in Moses Lake. This role may require travel and requires the ability to be on-call to respond to urgent needs, ensuring customer sites maintain around-the-clock hydrogen production. The role demands superior mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial hydrogen systems and performance. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate among cross-functional departments, leveraging field experience and data to suggest and implement design enhancements and resolve defects. This position is critical for interfacing with customer stakeholders and exceeding service expectations, thereby reinforcing the company's reputation as a leader in hydrogen fuel cell power solutions.
• Travel to customer sites to perform inspection, testing, commissioning, repair, and preventative maintenance primarily on electrolyzers, hydrogen storage infrastructure, and other deployed stationary hydrogen equipment.
• Must be highly knowledgeable with the operation, troubleshooting, and controls ideology of industrial hydrogen systems and components, with a strong background in both preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Execute and lead complex service repair projects on existing hydrogen infrastructure, including specialized procedures like liquid tank repairs and vacuum jacket line repairs.
• Support the commissioning, ongoing maintenance, and operation of industrial hydrogen infrastructure, including but not limited to:
o Interpreting electrical wiring schematics and construction drawings/P&IDs/E&IDs.
o Conducting Point to Point functionality testing.
o Pressure testing of piping systems per ASME standards.
• Be prepared to respond urgently to all field equipment repair and maintenance concerns, which may include travel on short notice.
• Provide training to first responders, customers, and other service personnel on the troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of hydrogen infrastructure.
• Diagnose system failures, isolate root causes, and troubleshoot solutions to maximize performance and reliability.
• Maintain a supreme focus upon safety in all facets of work and ensure all relevant parties are educated on the safe operation of hydrogen equipment and infrastructure. This includes adherence to hazardous location (classified area) requirements per CEC/OESC and other relevant safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned and required within the role.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience working with industrial control systems and electrical equipment
- Well-versed managing preventative maintenance on equipment
- High level of skill with mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Supreme analytical abilities and data analysis skills for diagnosing failures and isolating root causes.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Industrial hydrogen or high-pressure systems experience highly preferred.
