Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Level 4 Aerospace Systems Safety Engineer to support an in-service safety team for a leading aerospace client. This role focuses on leading end-to-end investigations into airplane safety events and identifying root cause and preventive actions across the aircraft lifecycle.
This individual will facilitate cross-functional teams, partner with FAA and internal stakeholders, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations. This is not a design role—the focus is on investigation, documentation, and preventing future issues. This position is onsite in Everett, Washington 5 days a week onsite.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8–10+ years of aerospace, systems, or safety engineering experience
- Bachelor’s (or higher) in Engineering or related field
- Strong experience leading root cause investigations (RCCA)
- Experience with structured problem solving (e.g., BPSM)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience working with commercial aircraft systems or in-service environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with FAA/regulatory bodies or 14 CFR compliance
- Background in continued operational safety or safety organizations
- Experience with safety analysis (FMEA, Fault Tree, etc.)
