Job Description

A large utility company is looking for a Change Management Consultant to support key initiatives within the Geospatial Information System (GIST) Program. This role will focus on organizational change management (OCM) efforts tied to a broader modernization of IT infrastructure, enhancing mapping capabilities, and improving management of geospatial assets. The consultant will act as a strategic partner to GIS teams, engineering, and field operations groups to drive adoption and ensure successful implementation of new tools and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience leading change management initiatives across complex, cross-functional programs
Proven experience applying structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) to drive adoption and align with project milestones
Experience supporting large-scale technology transformations, ideally involving system migrations or digital modernization efforts
Strong experience working with stakeholders at all levels, including groups with high resistance to change
Excellent soft skills including empathy, active listening, storytelling, collaboration, and problem solving
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working independently and cross-functionally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting or leading Business Readiness activities
Background in GIS, mapping systems, or utility/field operations environments
Experience with process improvement, process mapping, or workflow optimization initiatives
