Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a STEI Specialist to support mission critical Cryptologic Carry On Equipment (COE) systems within a Department of Defense environment. This role focuses on the engineering, integration, configuration, security, and sustainment of complex COE systems, supporting both mission execution and post mission data delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across COE architectures, networked systems, dataflow management, and secure operating environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, install, configure, integrate, deploy, and maintain COE systems supporting operational and post mission requirements

- Engineer and manage remote COE dataflows, including:
• Data leveling
• Data transformation
• Data ingestion protocols
• Compliance with national COE enterprise repositories

- Develop and implement COE data configuration and routing methodologies to meet mission requirements and ensure successful end user delivery

- Support wired and wireless network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and firewalls

- Perform system and network security activities, including:
• Design, implementation, configuration, and enforcement of security controls
• Compliance with DoD Information Assurance and cybersecurity requirements

- Provide system administration support across Windows and Linux environments

- Manage and deploy virtualized environments using VMware/vSphere

- Utilize Apache NiFi to support dataflow orchestration and system integration

- Perform hardware and software configuration management, including tracking:
• Bugs
• Enhancements
• Requirements
• Risks
• Test results
• Tasks

- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and program teams to ensure system integrity, security, and mission readiness

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline
- Active TS/SCI clearance

- Minimum 10 years of full time professional experience in:
• Design, implementation, installation, configuration, maintenance, integration, and deployment of COE systems
• Wired and wireless computer networks and devices (routers, switches, firewalls)

- Minimum 3 years of full time experience with:
• Remote COE dataflow configuration and management
• Data leveling, data transformation, and data ingestion protocols
• Engineering COE data configuration and routing methodologies

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the following areas:
• Windows Active Directory Services / Primary Domain Controller (PDC)
• Windows system configuration, administration, and deployment
• Linux system configuration, administration, and deployment
• Virtual machine deployment (VMware / vSphere)
• Apache NiFi
• Hardware and software configuration management
• System and network security design, implementation, and enforcement

- Certified Systems Administrator in one or both of the following operating systems:
• Windows
• Linux
