Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Test Engineer (TS/SCI + Poly) for one of our customers. This individual will be responsible for translating the end customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting design specifications, statements of work, requirements, scripts, and test cases. The environment will revolve around cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems.

Compensation:
$65.00hr to $75.00/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of test engineering for information technology experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field (*4 years of work experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree)
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Strong experience testing or developing software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Experience designing and executing test scripts, test plans, and procedures and documenting the expected and actual results
• Experience creating and updating automated test cases or scripts
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
• Experience with test methodologies, software release cycle, test effort estimation, and tracking
• Experience with Linux or UNIX environments
• Experience generating and managing test data
• Active Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with programming in Java
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG
• Experience with Load or Performance testing, including tools like JMeter
• Experience testing Cloud-based architectures
• Experience with an Agile release methodology
• Experience in backend testing, API testing, UI testing, and DB queries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
