Job Description
Seeking a customer-focused Project Manager to oversee and execute small to medium-sized projects within budget and schedule while maintaining positive cash flow. This client-facing role is responsible for driving project success, customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and safety while coordinating cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage, oversee, and coordinate small to medium-sized projects from award through completion.
• Develop detailed project implementation plans based on customer requirements.
• Translate customer needs into actionable project scopes and deliverables.
• Communicate project requirements and status updates to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain accurate records related to project status, changes, material flow, and reporting.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, services, and controls required for project execution.
• Establish project milestones, monitor progress, and analyze project costs.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Support subcontractor selection, management, and oversight as needed.
• Lead project teams and facilitate collaboration across departments.

Required Skills & Experience
• College degree, trade school certification, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of project management experience.
• Project management experience within a technical environment such as:
○ Building Automation Systems (BAS)
○ Fire Alarm Systems
○ Electronic Security Systems
• Strong financial and cost-control skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships and communications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
• Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following industries:
○ Electronic Security
○ Fire Alarm & Life Safety
○ Building Automation
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification.
• Industry-specific certifications and licenses.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
