Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Network Specialist for a large enterprise client supporting a major ongoing network initiatives. This role blends deep technical hands-on engineering with high-level network architecture and design responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a seasoned routing and switching expert with extensive data center experience, capable of designing, diagramming, and implementing complex network solutions. This individual will work closely with a team of senior architects in data center environments.

This position can pay $70-$80hr based on experience.

Required Skills & Experience

•15+ years of advanced routing & switching experience.
•Strong data center networking background leveraging Nexus Dashboard, ACI, VXLAN.
•Understanding of protocols including MPLS and various dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
•Architect-level design experience with hands-on implementation abilities.
•Architect-level design & diagramming expertise.
•Experience transitioning from legacy routing technologies to modern/advanced architectures.
•Hands on SD-WAN implementation, desigh and deployment.
•Understanding of firewall rules and security policy processes.
•Network automation using Ainsible and other like tools (Terraform, APIs).
•Proven support of multi-cloud environments including Azure, AWS.
•Experience supporting pre-hardware design and pre-go-live planning
