Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a .NET Developer. This position will focus on supporting the existing application environment and building stable and extensible applications to solve business needs. The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:
• Design, code, test, support, maintain and document C# applications.
• Work with clients and Application Development staff to develop technical solutions for complex business problems.
• Under the general supervision of senior Application Development staff, gather client requirements and analyze, design and create application-based solution specifications.
• Apply development/programming “best practices”: specification design/review, object-oriented development, database design normalization, etc.
• Adhere to all development, implementation and documentation standards in accordance with Application Development Standards and Procedures.
• Provide application support including problem research, analysis, resolution and on-call support.
• Ensure technical issues are resolved quickly and thoroughly.
This will be a hybrid position in Richmond, VA. Salary ranging from $40-55 per hour.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent education and training
Minimum 5 years of experience in software design and development
Demonstrated proficiency in C#, MVC, SQL, JSON, XML, HTML and JavaScript
Experience with Visual Studio and Git
Experience supporting applications deployed on MS Windows Server/IIS
Demonstrated Proficiency with relational database concepts and practices
