Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Internal Auditor II to join our client in Richmond, VA. This role will assist in planning, performing, and closing integrated risk-based internal audits across financial, compliance, operational, and information systems areas. You’ll conduct walkthroughs, compliance tests, substantive testing, document findings in automated workpapers, analyze root causes, and provide actionable recommendations. Responsibilities include interviewing management, performing data analytics on subsidiary financial and operational data, supporting external auditors, assisting in training of lower level auditors, handling special projects, and maintaining confidentiality.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 years' auditing experience in public/commercial accounting assurance or advisory practice (Big 4 or reputable regional firm highly preferred)
- Open to 30% travel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) Certification, CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) Certification or active pursuit, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification
- Manufacturing environment
- Practical ERP experience - Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly preferred
