Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a full‑time Plumber to support the launch and growth of a new franchise location in Purcellville, VA. This role is ideal for a service‑oriented plumbing professional who wants to be part of a ground‑up build while being backed by a well‑established national brand.

This individual will be one of the first field hires for the location and will play a key role in helping establish service standards, daily operations, and long‑term team growth. Early on, responsibilities will extend beyond service calls to include collaboration on warehouse setup, operational workflows, and training alongside leadership.

Responsibilities:
- Perform residential and light commercial service plumbing work, including emergency and routine calls
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and execute appropriate repairs or replacements
- Respond to on‑call service needs with professionalism and urgency
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, solutions, and next steps
- Maintain clean, safe, and respectful job sites in customers’ homes
- Use company tools and systems to document work, photos, and job details
- Assist with warehouse and operational setup during the early stages of the location
- Provide feedback to leadership to help refine processes, pricing, and service standards
- Work closely with the Head of Operations in a fluid, startup‑style environment

As the branch grows, this role will evolve to include greater ownership of service work, potential mentoring of new technicians, and opportunities to progress into lead technician or management responsibilities.

The hourly compensation for this role ranges from $32 - $35 per hour depending upon experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Solid plumbing service experience with the ability to manage jobs independently
- Working knowledge of residential plumbing systems, drains, and emergency service work
- Valid plumbing license or certification as required by state or local regulations
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Professional, customer‑focused communication style and presentation
- Comfortable working in a startup environment where workloads may fluctuate
- Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work a guaranteed 45‑hour work week

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with emergency plumbing or drain service
- Background in startup, franchise, or rapidly growing service organizations
- Leadership experience or interest in future growth opportunities
- Experience mentoring or training junior technicians
- Excavation exposure (not required; primary focus is service plumbing)
