Day-to-Day:
• Manage and oversee weekly multi-state payroll processing for 3,000+ employees
• Ensure accurate processing of timesheets, earnings, deductions, taxes, and direct deposits
• Conduct thorough payroll audits, validations, and reconciliations
• Handle payroll corrections, off-cycle payments, tax adjustments, and manual entries
• Oversee payroll tax compliance, filings, and correspondence across jurisdictions

Required Skills & Experience
• 8–10+ years of true end-to-end payroll experience (pure payroll, not HR/benefits-focused)
• Experience managing high-volume, weekly payroll processing for large organizations (~2,500–3,000+ employees)
• Proven experience with multi-state payroll including taxes, garnishments, deductions, and compliance
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, federal/state/local requirements)
• Hands-on experience with Workday payroll processing highly preferred (not just implementation/setup)
• Experience performing full-cycle payroll review, audits, reconciliations, and sign-offs
• 2-3 years' experience in direct management (Will oversee 2 payroll team members)
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (weekly payroll cadence)
• Strong communication skills with a high-energy, engaging, professional presence
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
