Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Senior RF Engineering Technician supporting a federal program in Norfolk, VA. This candidate will assist in RF system testing, integration, and field deployment efforts. Their day to day will include troubleshooting systems, supporting test events, documenting performance, and traveling to support deployment activities. A qualified candidate will have deep RF knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting experience, and familiarity with Linux systems.
• Support system integration and test execution across both laboratory and field environments
• Provide travel support throughout the performance period, including CONUS and OCONUS assignments
• Produce detailed technical documentation, including technical performance metrics, operations manuals, and system-level training materials
Compensation: $100k - $125k
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• 10+ years of hands-on professional experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and/or testing of complex systems or equipment
• Strong proficiency in RF systems, including theory, design, and operational application
• Experience with Linux system administration, including disk management, permissions, RAID configuration, and overall server architecture
• Ability to quickly interpret technical schematics and IT system documentation to effectively test, troubleshoot, and operate network infrastructure
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• RF, RDT&E, SIGINT, or CTM background
