Job Description
Insight Global is seeking candidates for a legal assistant position in Norfolk, VA. This person will support litigation attorneys and the Corporate Group by monitoring pleadings and correspondence, reviewing and assigning new case filings, scheduling depositions and assisting with witness preparation, processing incoming mail, managing document scanning, redaction, and filing, coordinating mail, fax, and courier deliveries, processing co-counsel invoices, assisting with document execution and notarization, preparing files for outsourcing, and supporting litigation-related projects as needed.
This candidate must be able to work on the fly, and be proficient with Microsoft Applications. The working hours for this position are Mon-fri, 8am-4:30pm. The pay rate is flexible depending on experience but ranges between $20-$23/hr.

Required Skills & Experience

-High School Education
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Two-years of legal secretarial and/or paralegal experience in a sophisticated corporate law firm practice and/or in-house counsel practice is preferred.
-Bachelors Degree preferred
