Serve as a dedicated recruiter supporting one specific team and business unit
Identify, attract, and engage top technical talent, with a focus on geospatial and IT backgrounds
Source candidates through platforms like LinkedIn and match individuals to roles based on experience and potential
Act as a headhunter to proactively build talent pipelines for loosely defined and evolving requisitions
Collaborate closely with hiring managers and team leadership to shape roles based on candidate strengths
Support hiring efforts for cleared positions where applicable

Required Skills & Experience
Experience recruiting within IT, geospatial, or related technical fields preferred
Understanding of government/cleared environments is highly desirable
Background working in or supporting startup or high-growth environments
Strong ability to identify talent and assess fit beyond traditional job descriptions
Proven sourcing skills and familiarity with LinkedIn and similar platforms
Must be local to the Newport News area or willing to work in a hybrid model
