MEP Senior Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager who will be supporting a mission critical facility in Virginia. You will conduct site walkthroughs to inspect ongoing work, ensure safety compliance, and assess progress. You will coordinate meetings with general contractors, architects, and other trades to resolve design and review BIM models. The MEP project manager also reviews and approves shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs. budget reports and planning for the next day’s activities. You will also ensure quality control, manage subcontractors, handle change orders, and ensures compliance with local codes and standards, all while resolving on-site challenges and keeping the project on track.

Must-haves
• 5 - 10+ years of experience in mechanical construction
• HVAC Construction (duct work)
• MEP Background, (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing)
• Recent projects have been mission critical (Data centers, hospitals, military installations)
• Knowledgeable working with BIM(Building Information Models)/purchase orders/working with the purchasing department

Can come from a GC if they have held a true MEP project manager role – don’t pull from these companies Suffolk/ HIIT / EE Reed

Plusses
- Bachelors degree
- comes from a true mechanical contracting company (southland, EMCOR etc.)
