Job Description
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is a vital lean manufacturing support role responsible for ensuring continuous, uninterrupted production flow. This position delivers materials, tools, and consumables to production and assembly lines just-in-time, allowing operators to remain fully focused on value‑added activities. Acting as a mobile Kanban system, this team member enhances process stability, minimizes waste, and prevents downtime through standardized material handling and replenishment routines.

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
• Ability to move efficiently throughout the production floor for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull materials within site safety guidelines
Physical Requirements
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and transport materials (typically 10–50 lbs; assistance provided as needed).
• Capability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts (Kanban, JIT, 5S) preferred
• Basic computer or inventory‑system proficiency is a plus
