Insight Global is seeking a Customer Relations Representative for a leading utility engineering and construction client. This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers and project teams, supporting communication throughout the lifecycle of engineering and construction projects. The role involves handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, documenting interactions, and occasionally visiting job sites to engage with stakeholders directly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and positive experience for all parties involved.
Day-to-Day:
• Interact directly with customers (homeowners, clients, etc.)
• Document interactions and updates within internal databases
• Manage customer requests, questions, and complaints in a timely manner
• Balance utility company needs (e.g., Dominion) with homeowner expectations
• Escalate issues to management when necessary
• Determine when field visits are required and conduct on-site meetings
• Support customer experience improvements and participate in coaching sessions
Communicate updates and concerns to supervisors

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
• 3+ years of overall workforce experience
• Strong customer service / customer interaction experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working 50–75% in the field (outdoor environments)
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience in cable operations or telecommunications
• Call center or customer support background
• Experience balancing stakeholder/customer needs in construction or utility environments
