Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Right of Way Acquisition Agent to join their team in Glen Allen, VA. On a day-to-day basis, this individual supports public and private infrastructure projects by conducting property and parcel research, performing due diligence, and working directly with property owners and occupants to negotiate the acquisition of required property rights. They coordinate right-of-way and utility-related activities, helping resolve issues and ensuring project timelines stay on track. The role also involves reviewing property information and title reports, assessing project risks, managing property and relocation activities for displaced occupants, supporting construction coordination efforts, and facilitating utility relocation and coordination as needed to support successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience as a Right of Way Acquisition Agent
Experience drafting ownership and title reports
Experience navigating county websites including GIS
Ability to travel to needed land sites
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with electrical utility title research
