Job Description

A defense electronics organization is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of complex, high‑reliability electronic systems. This role will be responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of multi‑card and box‑level designs, from early concept and architecture through verification, production support, and customer reviews. Engineers in this role work closely with cross‑functional teams and customers, contribute to technical decision‑making, and take ownership of task execution, schedules, and requirements compliance. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of hands‑on technical depth and program leadership, with experience supporting technically complex systems in space, defense, or other high‑reliability environments.

This is a 6-month contract position in Fairfax, VA, Littleton, CO or Concord, NH. This position is offering a pay range of $65 - $75/hr. If interested, please apply!

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 6+ years of highly relevant experience working with technically complex designs
- Hands on experience designing multi card/ multi board systems
- Experience owning designs through the full hardware lifecycle
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks, priorities, and schedules
- Familiarity with IPC standards

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in space, defense, or high reliability hardware environments
- Analysis selection for radiation concerns or worst case analysis
- PC J-STD-001 Space Addendum
- IPC 6012 Space Addendum
- NASA EEE-INST-002
