Insight Global is seeking an Environmental Compliance Manager – Enablon Lead to join a Cloud Infrastructure team at one of our largest technology customers. this team is responsible for environmental permit compliance related to construction of Data Centers (DCs). The Environmental Compliance Manager – Enablon Lead will manage Enablon implementation for construction environmental permits and regulations and cooperate with internal/external business partners to achieve compliance goals. This role requires regular engagement with key stakeholders, including Compliance, Permitting, Legal, Design, Construction, and Operations teams, and outside consultants and contractors.
The Environmental Compliance Manager – Enablon Lead will be a key player in both the strategy development and compliant execution of construction environmental permits in Enablon for our projects during the construction phase of our DC lifecycle
Specific Job Task – Populate Enablon templates with applicable environmental permits and regulations for over 70 projects. Includes team cross coordination prior to, during, and after template population. The job requires strong knowledge in environmental regulations related to Clean Water Act sections 402, 401, and 404, Clean Air Act, and SPCC.
Roles and Responsibilities - The Environmental Compliance Manager – Enablon Lead is part of a larger environmental team composed of environmental permitting and compliance managers that supports the on-time delivery and execution of data center while ensuring compliance with all environmental approvals. Specific responsibilities will include:
Coordinate with subject-matter experts as needed to accurately populate Enablon templates
Coordination with Permit Managers to understand permit conditions to ensure Enablon templates enable compliance with all environmental approvals
Responsible for assigning tasks and meeting with task owners / responsible parties, as needed.
Coordination with EHS Enablon team for loading populated templates into the software
Management of Enablon templates including regular reporting to internal stakeholders.
Communication of environmental requirements and environmental expertise to diverse internal and external stakeholders. Enablon Lead will maintain and report project status regularly and contribute to the development and continued improvement of an Environmental Excellence program for datacenter delivery and construction.
Pay for this is between 50-80/hr

Required Skills & Experience
In order to be successful, you must have a strong background in environmental permitting and compliance, be able to work in a dynamic and global organization and have a strong desire to continually learn and innovate. In particular, we will expect you to:
Have specific knowledge of environmental permitting programs and requirements including, but not limited to, air quality, threatened and endangered species, CWA 404/401 permitting, stormwater construction general permits, SPCC, RCRA, etc.
Be proficient with Enablon software.
Have ability to follow construction schedules, and identify compliance risks and mitigation
Work well within a fast-paced organization who is a self-starter, process-minded, and collaborative.
Have a Bachelor's degree in environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent
3 to 5 years of environmental permitting or compliance and approvals experience in America, including management of environmental impact assessments, acquisition of permits, and cultural and ecological surveys and approvals.
Experience with mission critical facilities or large-scale construction projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous Exp working on Data Center Projects
Experience in construction and operational environmental compliance and experience working through environmental permitting and compliance in multiple markets
