Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for a local A&E firm in Ashland, VA. This role will be sitting on-site in the Ashland office, providing hands-on experience to those pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural/Architectural Engineering. This role provides hands-on exposure to AutoCAD and assisting structural engineers with design calculations and plan development.

Required Skills & Experience

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of structural design principles (steel, concrete, foundations)
- Exposure to AutoCAD

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Previous co-op or internship experience
