A client of Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Developer. This role will focus on building and enhancing customer-facing software that supports control systems across existing product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong balance of front-end web development and back-end Java experience, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related
3+ years of software development experience building full-stack web applications, not a junior candidate who needs a lot of instruction
Strong experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong experience building Web UIs using JavaScript frameworks such as Vue/Vuetify or similar
Experience designing, implementing, and documenting REST APIs
Experience integrating frontend apps with backend application services
Relational (MySQL, Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo) databases
Able to work in a team environment, in-office for either Dulles or Germantown offices preferred, but will accept remote if the person is a high-quality candidate who can communicate well
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with C++
Background in Unity (less critical; web-based experience preferred)
Experience supporting control systems or industrial applications
Prior experience working on product-based development teams
