Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Software Assurance Engineer to support a DoD client in Arlington, Va. This individual will be working to provide guidance to DoD leadership surrounding policy and guidance for emerging systems and software for the military. They will be working to assess and advance best practices for Software Assurance throughout the DoD. Their research and new policy will be adopted throughout the entire DoD and used to ensure protection against threats for new software being developed.
Hourly: 73-80/hr
Salary: 160,000-172,000

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience
-Active TSSCI Clearance
-Experience with Software Assurance (Design inspections, static analysis, code inspection, penetration testing)
-Strong working knowledge of DoW acquisition process
-Strong understanding of DoW software acquisition framework and pathways
-Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and supply chain policy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Past software development experience
