Job Description
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level Mechanical Engineer to support greenfield and brownfield projects within the mining and industrial sectors. This individual will play a key role in delivering full lifecycle engineering support, from early conceptual design through construction and execution, while working closely with internal teams, clients, and equipment vendors.
• Lead and support mechanical engineering design for greenfield (new build) and brownfield (retrofit/expansion) projects
• Develop engineering deliverables from conceptual design through detailed design and construction support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (process, structural, electrical) to ensure integrated system design
• Interface with vendors and manufacturers to evaluate, specify, and procure mechanical equipment
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and system schematics to support project execution
• Support construction, commissioning, and startup activities as needed
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, some of which working in an industrial or mining environment
• Experience taking projects from conceptual design to construction
Experience working with vendors and manufacturers for equipment selection
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Previous experience acting as a designer on Engineering projects
• Experience with material handling, and pimp/piping system experience
• P.E License
