Job Description

In this role, you will lead the preparation and submission of regulatory applications and filings across multiple state jurisdictions. You’ll be responsible for responding to data requests, developing utility arguments, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, frameworks, rules, and guidelines. Working closely with teams across finance, operations, accounting, legal, tax, treasury, and external advisors, you will support regulatory proceedings by preparing filings, conducting research, and developing financial models and analyses that inform regulatory submissions. You will also help ensure regulatory deadlines, tariff updates, and reporting obligations are met, represent the company in hearings and external regulatory meetings, support business development efforts such as acquisitions and RFP responses, and monitor regulatory and legislative developments that may impact the companies utilities and operations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience with regulated utilities (level-dependent)
• Experience appearing before regulatory commissions
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legislation, policies, rules, and guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Master's degree in a related field
CPA, CFA, PE, or equivalent professional designation
