Job Description

A water management and chemical technology client within the O&G industry is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team at their plant in Tyler, TX. This role is an on-going contract role that will work onsite at the plant. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supervising a team of Engineering Technicians and Engineers to ensure overall project success. The Project Coordinator will assign tasks, provide ongoing guidance and training, and ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise the design process to ensure all designs comply with client specifications, industry standards (e.g., NESC), and other relevant regulations
• Serve as the first point of reference for technical inquiries from direct reports
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity and quality of work
• Monitor and enforce adherence to processes set by client specifications and senior management
• Respond promptly to organizational or client-driven changes, alerting team members as changes occur and utilizing approved communication channels
• Provide ideas to enhance efficacy and speed in the design process
• Anticipate potential obstacles in the design process, and develop proactive solutions
• Communicate promptly with team and other stakeholders as challenges or changes arise
• Maintain an open line of communication with direct reports and project leadership
• Establish and maintain a culture of high-performance among direct reports
• Work with leaders and team members to facilitate/support internal change efforts to increase organizational effectiveness

Required Skills & Experience

*3-5 YOE in O&G industry (Plant experience is preferred)

*Basic knowledge of P&ID’s (knowledge of design, calculations, and design systems, including Joint Use and NESC safety codes)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

*Bachelor’s Degree in a field of Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Industrial Technology

*Experience in the technical and infrastructure industry, especially Distribution Utility Design

*OSHA 30 Certification
