Insight Global is hiring an Optometrist (OD) to join a growing ophthalmology-based practice. This opportunity is ideal for an Optometrist who values clinical excellence, professionalism, and consistency while practicing in a high-volume, medically oriented environment alongside experienced ophthalmologists and a strong clinical support team.
The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care across multiple clinic locations while contributing positively to clinic flow and team dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive eye exams and medical optometry services
• Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists, technicians, and clinical leadership to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain efficiency without compromising quality or patient experience
• Accommodate same-day add-ons and walk-in patients as needed to support patient demand
• Travel to satellite clinic locations as part of a structured, communicated schedule
• Uphold all practice policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Contribute to a positive, solution-oriented clinical environment
Schedule & Locations
• 5-day clinical schedule (Monday–Friday)
• 3 days per week in San Antonio
• 2 days per week at the Eagle Pass satellite clinic (approximately 180 miles away)
• Travel is scheduled in advance and supported by accompanying technicians
Practice Environment
• Established, high-demand ophthalmology practice

Required Skills & Experience
• Licensed Optometrist (OD) in the state of Texas (or eligible)
• Strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence
• Professional, reliable, and accountable with scheduling and responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a high-volume clinical environment
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to multiple clinic locations
• Willingness to travel as part of a structured rotation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) — plus but not required
• Experience in an ophthalmology-based or medically focused practice
• Comfort supporting clinic growth through flexibility and efficiency
