Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NOC Technician to join our monitoring team, responsible for overseeing alerts and events across all networked systems in a 24/7/365 environment. This role includes after-hours support for the Service Desk, handling escalations, and answering third-party vendor calls during nights and weekends. The technician will follow up on automated tickets routed to departments and ensure timely resolution through coordination and documentation. Candidates must have experience with Active Directory, exposure to Linux and Windows systems, and familiarity with tools like Azure, SiteScope, and Zenoss. A minimum of 2 years NOC experience is required, with preference given to those holding an associate or bachelor’s degree and certifications such as Cisco or Security+. Training will be provided during a three-month day shift (8–5), after which the technician will work closely with a full-time weekend night employee and cover shifts as needed. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes remote work with one in-office night, and the schedule runs Thursday–Sunday nights, 6 PM–2 AM, starting mid to late October.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience working in a NOC
- 1-3 years of experience with Active Directory
- Familiarity with in Windows and Linux systems
- 1-2 years of customer support experience in a help desk or IT environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CCNA or CCNP
Bachelors Degree
