Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Cloud Administrator to join their team on a Wednesday–Saturday schedule from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional technical and customer support by managing inbound customer calls and self-service service requests, ensuring all issues are properly tracked, communicated, and resolved within established SLAs. The individual will provide frontline support for end users while leveraging strong troubleshooting and communication skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
The Remote Cloud Administrator will support server-related requests, including server upgrades and incidents generated from monitoring and alarm systems when services go down. Responsibilities include logging into servers to assess system health, reviewing drives and memory allocation, and determining whether servers or services are not running as expected. This role requires foundational experience with servers and hands-on troubleshooting, including remotely accessing environments using VMware to investigate and resolve infrastructure issues. The position also involves maintaining knowledge base documentation, escalating complex issues when necessary, and consistently delivering a high level of customer service.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems, networking concepts, and computer hardware.
- 2 years of end user and infrastructure desktop support experience with either physical or virtual desktop technologies
- Experience troubleshooting server-related incidents, including server upgrades and service outages
- Hands on experience logging into servers to review system health, including drives, memory allocation, and service status
