An employer in Roanoke, TX is looking for a Service Desk Tech to join their growing MSP organization. This person will perform a mix of field and virtual support duties. They will be responsible for management of system security including Active Directory roles and permissions, and provide support for virtualized environments. They will apply their understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting skills to help with clients routine and elevated issues. They will also help to install LAN, WAN, mobile, and other infrastructure.
This is a small MSP, and this person will be expected to work on-site most of the time, allowing for 1 day a week remote after an initial training period. This role is listed at $50,000 - $80,000/yr based off of experience, technical aptitude, and tenure.

1-4+ years experience in IT service desk support, network support, and system design
Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance of Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure based environments
Efficient with Office 365 deployments including SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
Experience designing and maintaining firewalls, routers, and switches (Sonicwall/Fortigate/Ubiquiti)
