Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Scaffolding Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support ongoing construction, commissioning, and field execution activities. The schedule is 6 10s. This individual will act as the technical authority for scaffolding strategy, materials, and program execution across the site.
This is a field-heavy leadership role, ideal for someone who not only understands scaffolding systems, but can own and guide the scaffolding program, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution across multiple work fronts.

Serve as the primary SME for scaffolding operations across the site
Provide guidance on scaffolding design, materials selection, and best practices
Oversee and support scaffolding construction, modification, and dismantling activities
Ensure all scaffolding work meets safety standards, regulatory requirements, and site procedures
Partner with construction, maintenance, and commissioning teams to support field execution
Evaluate scaffolding needs across projects and ensure proper planning and material allocation
Support troubleshooting and resolution of field-related scaffolding challenges
Drive continuous improvements to the scaffolding program, processes, and efficiency
Act as a liaison between contractors, field crews, and leadership

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience working as a Scaffolding SME, Supervisor, or Program Lead

Deep knowledge of scaffolding systems, materials, and design principles

Proven background supporting industrial construction, plant operations, or commissioning environments

Ability to lead and influence field teams and contractors

Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations related to scaffolding

Experience working in field-heavy roles (comfortable onsite daily)

Ability to assess and solve real-time field challenges

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working in LNG, petrochemical, or large industrial plants

Background supporting construction execution or commissioning phases

Familiarity with site-wide scaffolding programs or large-scale coordination

Certifications related to scaffolding, safety, or construction (OSHA, NCCER, etc.)

Experience working with multiple contractors and large project teams
