Job Description

The EHS Coordinator supports operational service lines by promoting a strong safety culture, delivering training, and identifying and mitigating workplace hazards. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while partnering closely with operations to maintain safe, efficient plant and field environments
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safety training (including new hire onboarding )
• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
• Monitor environmental and safety risks (e.g., chemical handling, air quality, noise, wastewater pollution levels)
• Maintain safety documentation (training records, incident reports, manuals)
• Support emergency response planning and safety procedures
• Coordinate inspections of facilities, equipment, and vehicles (including compliance checks)
• Partner with operations to drive safety improvements and compliance initiatives
• Manage PPE and safety supplies
• Build relationships across teams to reinforce safety awareness and accountability

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–5+ years of experience in EHS (environmental, health and safety) or manufacturing safety
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial settings
• General knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Department of transportation Experience
• Hazmat experience
