Job Description

Configure and optimize Linux-based systems for radar and defense applications, ensuring seamless hardware-software integration.
Develop and test configuration scripts, drivers, and tools to enhance system performance and security.
Configure Linux HW/SW for optimized computing and networking
Configure and Deploy containerized software applications
Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in Linux systems, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
Active Top Secret clearance.
Strong hands‑on experience configuring and optimizing Linux systems, specifically RHEL‑based environments, supporting mission‑critical or high‑reliability applications.
Experience configuring Linux hardware and software for optimized computing and networking, including performance tuning and system‑level configuration (not kernel development).
Experience configuring, deploying, and supporting containerized applications (e.g., Docker or similar container technologies) in development or production environments.
Strong troubleshooting experience across the development lifecycle, working closely with engineering teams to resolve system configuration and integration issues.
Experience working in secure or regulated environments, even if not focused specifically on STIGs or formal compliance frameworks

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting radar, defense, or other embedded / hardware‑adjacent systems.
Background that blends systems administration, systems engineering, and light software development.
Experience developing or maintaining automation scripts or tools to support system configuration, deployment, or operational efficiency.
Exposure to Linux driver configuration, system tools, or performance tuning (without kernel builds).
