Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a large manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment uptime, reliability, and safety while overseeing preventive and reactive maintenance programs across a wide range of industrial manufacturing equipment.
This leader will manage maintenance supervisors and technicians, drive accountability across the maintenance organization, and ensure effective planning, execution, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader with strong mechanical expertise, proven leadership experience, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Experience leading supervisors and technician teams (direct + indirect)
Strong mechanical maintenance expertise (hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial equipment)
* Experience with preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting equipment issues
* Background in industrial manufacturing environments such as HVAC, automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, or electronics
* Experience coordinating maintenance schedules, work orders, and parts management
* SAP or ERP experience for maintenance/work order management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Exposure to PLCs, controls, or automation systems
* Experience with fabrication or production equipment (sheet metal, stamping, conveyors, automated systems)
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, maintenance, or related field
* Experience leading larger maintenance teams (40+ indirect reports)
